GESPASA MG-80 / MG-80A disc meters are mechanical oscillating disc meters, ideal for installations where there is no electrical power supply or where maximum operational simplicity is required.

The MG 84A, MG 80A and MG 80 models have been designed for environments where accurate traceability is required without depending on complex electronics, offering a clear, consistent and durable mechanical readout.

Based on oscillating disc technology, these units provide precise measurement of the transferred volume by means of an internal positive displacement system. This technology has historically been valued for its ability to maintain accuracy even when working with variable flow rates or non-constant pressures, ensuring stable measurement under real operating conditions.

One of the main advantages of these meters is their independence from electrical power. Thanks to their direct-reading mechanical register, which includes a partial register and accumulated totaliser, the MG models can be installed on mobile tanks, stand-alone dispensers, service trailers or mobile workshops, where electronic systems are not always available. This feature makes them a versatile tool for monitoring fuel consumption in a reliable and simple way.

The bodies of these meters are designed to withstand continuous contact with diesel, kerosene and other petroleum-based products. The MG 80 and MG84A models stand out for their compatibility with medium flow rates and for incorporating a larger, easier-to-read register, ideal for fixed or semi-mobile installations. Finally, the MG 80, a version manufactured entirely in plastic, is compatible with a wide variety of fluids, including corrosive liquids.
In addition, all models are compatible with GESPASA accessories such as filters, self-priming pumps or quick couplings, allowing their direct integration into complete transfer solutions.

Thanks to their modular design, they can be combined with external digital pulsers, turning them into electronic meters without altering their basic mechanical accuracy. MG 84A disc meter

The GESPASA MG 80A disc meter is a disc volumetric meter designed to combine measurement accuracy with a more compact and lightweight format, ideal for mobile installations, transportable tanks or refuelling areas with limited space. Thanks to its oscillating disc system, it provides a continuous flow with excellent accuracy, even under intermittent use or variable flow rate conditions.

Its purely mechanical operation allows it to work without electrical power supply, and the reading is provided by means of a partial register and an integrated accumulated totaliser, clearly visible.
